On the other hand Viewfinder and Kizuna found a new home with DMP's June manga imprint, and Viz Media picked up Love Pistols. Update NovemRep from Kodansha responded gave the standard form answer for series not yet completed (titles dropped when Del Rey transferred Kodansha's manga to Kodansha USA). volume 10 was published August 2010 and I am crossing my fingers for volume 11). Viz has increased the SRP of their manga and decreased the frequency when series are published (ie. I suppose I should be glad Kodansha Comics has decided to directly publish their series instead of licensing the manga to Del Rey ( Xxxholic is one the exceptions apparently) but Nodame Cantabile appears to have gotten the ax so it's more bittersweet less than coming up roses ( Sailor Moon being re-issued is representative of the roses). Ditto for Aurora Publishing (the house that published imprints Deux and Luv Luv) promising to restart as the Manga Factory. My hopes Kitty Media would be able to restructure their finances successfully have been dashed since the company has recently laid off 60% of their workforce.
